Take some time to think. Not about the usual things. Not about groceries or bills or your 5 year plan. Not even about your children or parents or friends. Not even about yourself, at least not in the usual way. Think about the space you occupy, the things around you and the space they occupy. Imagine you weren’t you, view the universe from the perspective of another nonhuman living thing. How does the earth appear from that perspective? This is less an exercise about the environment but more about the interconnectedness of the world we live in. Take a minute or two to observe and admire.
