STEM is a focus in most k-12 schools while The Arts are extracurricular activities taken outside of school or an elective course to be added on. Passions are sometimes viewed as flights of fancy and lumped with unrealistic goals. Break the mold, think outside of the structured box and take the passionate route. What some may view as strange now may one day be the norm. If you build it they will come!
