I haven’t watched soap operas in years, but today, I decided to take a peek at CBS’s new daytime drama, and before I knew it, I was making facial expressions and reacting to the over-the-top drama that makes a soap a soap.
It reminded me of being home sick or on summer vacations, catching up on the drama I’d missed. The nostalgia hit hard, and just like that, I was pulled back into the world of secrets, betrayals, and tangled family legacies.
