Initially it will take some unlearning to refocus our energy to thinking about things through a different lens. It may take some time to become comfortable with filtering out the negative thoughts as sometimes they come to easily. For a while they will persist; however, once you start acknowledging them and actively replacing the thoughts with more positive ones, the process will become easier and eventually more habitual.
