The Umbrella Academy was a 8/10 for me. Pretty good but not an epic. TUA has superheroes and time travel, two of my favorite types of shows. I was not familiar with TUA beforehand so the entire view was new for me. I had no reference about what characters should be like so there wasnt any room for disappointment. That being said, I imagine that the characters probably are more epic in the books. The show doesnt do much with their abilities until late in the season and the show starts after the team has disassembled. I’d be interested in seeing a flashback. Perhaps that’s where the show will go next. Overall a good watch.

I’m interested in season 2 and hopefully it doesnt take forever.
