Being lost in thought is what happens when hours past without you realizing it and not really being able to account for what you were doing. It’s also racing thoughts or allow a stream of thoughts to flow one after the other without actually processing them. Both are the opposite of mindfulness. When you are lost in thought while you are with others, you are missing opportunities to create memories. Stay in the moment. Respect each thought and stay in the present.
